Publication of books on media increasing

Kathmandu, Sept 14: There has been increase in publication of Media-related books. Besides publishing houses, NGOs are getting involved in publication of books.

Meanwhile, book on media 'Free Radio in Royal Regime: Strory of Suppression and Protest' was made public here Thursday.

Written bt Binod Dhungel, the book is divided into five chapter reflecting on oppression, impaction of suppression and freedom and lessons of royal regime.

This is the 34th book published by Martin Chautari and 19th book related to media.

At the programme, Hari Sharma of Social Science Baha and Shiv Gaunle of the Nepal Journalist's Federation put forth their views. Dr. Pratyoush Onta laid stress on research and study
