Sanjay Sharma

Sanjay Sharma is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Sociology, National University of Singapore. His doctoral research offers a gender critique of the militarisation and transnational migration of Gurkha soldier families. He uses alternative methodologies as my research tools that include the analysis of photographs, virtual ethnography, social media engagements, online archives, and folklore, among others. His research interests also include feminist historiography, decolonial thought, Marxist literature, and colonial migrations.
