SHASTRARTHA
Multidisciplinary Academic PerspectiveS (MAPS)
Towards Broader Horizons
MAPS is an initiative towards broadening horizons of our academia and understanding. We take multidisciplinary approaches on topics, aimed at extending and redrawing maps of our comprehension. The name MAPS speaks for itself.
MAPS invites and welcomes you to the SHASTRARTHA (academic exchange/discussion and interpretation) being held at Martin Chautari, Thapathali every Saturday from 4 pm to 6 pm. MAPS organizes SHASTRARTHA with 2 presenters, who present their academic perspectives on the week's topic in 10-15 minutes each, and a scholar Guest Analyst, who presents an analysis of the topic in 20-30 minutes. These presentations are followed by an hour-long open floor discussion in which all the participants interact and exchange perspectives. Shastrartha focuses on thoughts, theories, principles, philosophies, ideologies, concepts and the like. Participation is open to all.
Unless otherwise stated, SHASTRARTHA takes place in Nepali language.
