Environmental justice is a relatively new concept now considered important in improving environmental quality and enabling the sustainable use of resources and their protection, empowerment of the marginalized and improved livelihood security. Various studies related to the access of people to resources, distribution of ecological benefits and hazards and livelihood security are included in this bibliography. Even though these works have not used the concept of environmental justice as such, they contribute to an understanding of the concept.

This bibliography will help students, researchers, project implementer, and policy makers identify and understand environmental justice problems in Nepal.
